Angela S. Leonard, IBCLC, attended Villanova University. She has worked as a birth and postpartum doula since 2000 and became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2005. She is currently a member of ILCA, USLCA, and PRO-LC. Angela worked at Pennsylvania Hospital and for Main Line Health System before joining Brandywine Pediatrics in 2012.
Angela was born and raised in CT and moved to the area in 1991. She met her husband Michael here, and the two have established their family in West Chester, PA. She has 5 VERY active children, a dog, 2 cats, a hamster, and a bird. She spends all of her free time enjoying and photographing her children’s many activities. She also bakes a pretty cake! Angela feels that juggling the demands of her large family gives her a real life perspective on the challenges that new parents face, and she enjoys being able to help them through these rewarding, yet often trying, times. She is very happy to help you get breastfeeding off to a great start or to help you over any hurdles that may come up along the way. Angela is very happy to be on the Brandywine Pediatrics Team!
