Lauren Edgar is a board certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Lauren is a Delaware native who graduated from Archmere Academy and was also a patient at Brandywine Pediatrics as a child. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villanova University in 2006 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in 2017, where she graduated with honors and is a current member of the National Nursing Honor Society Sigma Theta Tau for the Eta Nu Chapter. Lauren is an experienced pediatric nurse with 11 years of bedside nursing at Nemours Alfred I. DuPont Children’s Hospital, where she worked on a surgical-trauma-transplant unit followed by 6 years as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner in private practice. Lauren found a love for pediatric primary care and seeing children at both well and sick visits. Her favorite part is watching her patients grow and becoming a part of their journey as they are a part of hers.
Lauren is married and the proud mother of her son and daughter. When not at work you can find her following her children’s busy sports and dance schedules, spending time at the beach or outdoors with her family, reading, or trying a new recipe. Lauren is thrilled to be a part of the Brandywine Pediatrics family.
