Tina Kudach Rice, “Nurse Tina,” is a board certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse
Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing
with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, after which she worked at the Children’s
Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for several years as a pediatric trauma nurse. Her
nursing experience includes orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and surgical
subspecialties. Tina loved her time as an inpatient nurse, but ultimately found a
passion for preventative care and decided to earn her advanced-practice nursing
degree. Tina earned her master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s
Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. She joined Brandywine
Pediatrics in December 2020.
Tina is currently a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse
Practitioners and the national nursing honor society, Sigma Theta Tau. She is
published in the journal of
Pain Management Nursing
for her research on
postoperative pain, and has traveled to multiple cities to present this research.
When Tina is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two
dogs, Molly and Wilson, traveling, skiing, and reading. She is a foodie, and loves to
try new restaurants. Tina is very excited to work with the Brandywine Pediatrics’
patients and families!
